This Traditional Wavy American Flag is 40.5" L x 18.5" H in size. Made from locally sourced lumber and clear-coated for a pleasant semi-gloss finish for a nice balance of shadows and light absorption.
All curves are hand-carved using power tools and other hand-carving techniques to make the flag appear as if it is waving in the wind. None of our carving work is done with a CNC and is all done skillfully by hand.
Fully handmade and stained. Light torching gives darker accents under light. All stars are beneath the surface of the wood. Truly stunning, and pictures do not do it justice. Each flag will come with two attached D-rings on the backside for your preferred wall hanging.

Please note :
These flags vary in grain/torching due to the differences in wood grain per flag. Backs of flags may have knot holes or tear-out from the sawmill but will not affect hanging ability. You may see defects on the backside of the wall art; however, all viewable areas will be secured and planned for. Knots within the lumber will come in all shapes, sizes, and appearances. We understand that some knots are not attractive, so we position these on the back of the flag if they are unable to be filled in on all of the other faces of the flag. There may be small cracks or voids that will be sealed with the clear finish. Due to wood being a natural product, we cannot arrange knots in any specific way aside from using them to accent the beauty this world has to offer. If you would like a picture of your flag prior to us shipping it out, please let us know.
For Indoor use, however, can be outdoors if not in direct sunlight and under some sort of cover as to keep it away from the elements. The back will come sealed. Please note that the lifespan of your wall art will be shortened when used outdoors.
